The Competition .
The POLLINO DANZA FESTIVAL School Group Competition will take place on Saturday 19 July 2025 at Fardella (PZ), Basilicata, Italy. Participation in the Competition is reserved exclusively for ASD and SSD.
The Competition includes only one category: GROUPS (consisting of at least 2 participants),
and four sub-categories by age:
- Baby: from 5 to 8 years old
- Under 13: from 9 to 13 years old
- Juniors: from 14 to 17 years old
- Seniores: from 18 years old and up
The minimum and maximum ages must be reached by the Competition date.

The disciplines Classical and Neoclassical Dance, Modern-Jazz-Contemporary, Urban Dance and Hip Hop are admitted.
Groups can compete with multiple choreographies in different disciplines, but also compete in the same discipline with multiple choreographies.
The duration of the choreography must be a maximum of 4:00 minutes. The duration does not include the possible positioning of the stage objects.
Cost & Awards .
Prizes
The prize pool consists of trophies and/or plaques, and/or medals and prestigious scholarships. In the event of dancers classified with equal merit, both will be awarded. The jury, however, reserves the right not to award all the prizes within the same discipline/category.
The CHOREOGRAPHER PRIZE is expected for the best choreography in the competition. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Cost
Registrations must be received no later than 06/20/2025
The registration fees (non-refundable) for each performance are:
€120.00 per choreography for up to three participants. From the fourth participant onwards, €35.00 must be added for each additional component.
