The young choreographer Francesca Gianelli, winner of the 2025 Choreographic Showcase, will be performing an artistic residency from July 10th to 20th. She will work on her show “Chasmophyte,” which will debut exclusively at the festival on July 21st.

“Chasmophytes are those plant species that inhabit the scars of the earth, taking root in its cracks. They compose patterns to the rhythm of the seasons, colors that overflow beyond the edges until they allow them to breathe. Can the encounter with the other be like this? A game that plants roots between the bones and changes the geographies of the eyes? Thus we dance a song addressed to those who tirelessly search and flourish within the cracks.”
