MPTRE Dance Project・Contemporary

Agnese Trippa was born in Bologna in 1997. She studied at the Balletto di Toscana school in Florence directed by Cristina Bozzolini, later she attended the MP3 Project professional introduction course by Michele Pogliani. Among her most important engagements, in 2017 she worked under the direction of Emir Kusturica and Nicola Zorzi with the choreography of Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni, she also danced “Esili” by Loredana Calabrese. In 2019 she worked for Michele Pogliani in “Devotee”, for Ballandi Casa di Produzione Televisiva with Filippo Timi and Francesca Romana Di Maio, she is part of the project “La Bella Vergogna” by La fura dels Baus for Matera Capitale della cultura 2019. Between 2020 and 2021 she was a dancer in “Dance the Distance” by Ariella Vidach, in “Hedera” by Loredana Calabrese and in the same period she joined MPTRE Dance Project taking part in the company’s productions including: “Skin” with the choreography by Michele Pogliani and Regina Van Berkel, “Hodighítria” in collaboration with Daniele Cipriani Entertainment. She is currently involved in “Camera Obscura” by Michele Pogliani, a new project of the company and “Relative Calm” in collaboration with Robert Wilson, Lucinda Childs and Change Performing Arts.

In 2023 he received the Danza&Danza award as best emerging performer 2022.
