Nederlands Dans Theater・Contemporary Dance

Chloé Albaret was born in France. She started dancing at age 15 with contemporary & ballet and very quickly, developed a deep passion for this art form. She then decided that she wanted to train full time and make a career in dance. She did her study at the Ballet Junior de Genève in Switzerland.
In 2010 she joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 under the direction of Gerald Tibbs and moved to the main company Nederlands Dans Theater 1 in 2013 under the direction of Paul Lightfoot.
Throughout her career in NDT she worked with numerous choreographers and makers such as Jirí Kylián, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Crystal Pite, Hofesh Shechter, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Peeping Tom to name a few.
After leaving NDT in 2022, Chloé continued her dance career as a freelancer. She also works with numerous dance companies as a rehearsal director/Stager, and teaches dance as an international guest teacher throughout Europe.
