Located in the heart of the Pollino National Park in Episcopia (PZ), Pollino Danza attracts students and artists from all over the world during the last week of July. For over a week, workshops, shows, residencies and dance competitions enliven the town squares, creating a perfect balance between art, environment and culture.
The theme of respect for nature and the valorization of art is manifested through outdoor lessons and choreographic workshops immersed in nature: on a meadow, in the woods, by the river.

Due to its location, the festival is easily accessible on foot, promoting eco-sustainability and offering a stress-free experience in a serene environment. The accommodations, accessible at a low cost thanks to the support of the Municipality of Episcopia, is managed by the staff of Balletto Lucano, organizer of the event.

Pollino Danza is committed to making art accessible to all, offering scholarships and internships at dance academies and companies. Balletto Lucano supports young talents, guaranteeing them access to the festival at affordable or even free costs. Many of them today have found their path to a professional career in dance thanks to this opportunity.
